"Mixing innovation with creativity!"
|
The Company
The name may seem unusual, however considering the new technology unfolding and the mindset of Donna and JT on 'the creative flow' the cauldron seemed fitting. The main ingredient to any project is the brainstorming, ideas bring on others and by working with people who have varying strengths, simmers a stronger flavor and a better end result. Someone once said, "Writers write!". Excellent logic when you consider directors direct, actors and actresses act and producers do whatever it is they do (just kidding!). By taking the talents of those involved and blending them together with the new media forms as well as marketing directives, the future of television, movies and even the internet will change dramatically. To be open to those new mediums and respecting the artistic nature of others is what gives Cauldron Cat Entertainment its motto, "Mixing innovation with creativity!".

JT always knew she would be a writer. Her desire to write 'the perfect movie' started back in the 8th grade and stayed with her long into adulthood. Sitting in a theatre and watching a story unfold turned into as much of a love as reading and writing. She adores 'larger than life' heroes, spunky heroines and 'happily ever after'. "Most people that hear voices are crazy. I'm just a writer." After publishing numerous romance titles in the subgenres of contemporary, paranormal and action/suspense, with a heat index ranging from sweet to steamy, she was ready for her next challenge. Having received Reviewer Choice Awards and successful reviews, she decided the time had come to bring her comedic voice to television and the box office. "A great story is like a roller coaster. Making people cry, laugh, gasp and at the end of the ride leaving them with a smile and a sigh, makes it truly worth it."

Donna’s three favorite activities as a child were going to movies, reading and watching TV. When she was in 7th grade, her friends would come to her and ask her to create a scene that would put them in their favorite shows. The next day at lunch, she’d tell them their ‘episode’ which always met with laughter, clapping, and smiling approval. The entertainment bug sunk his teeth in deep. “You mean not every one can visualize scenes and rethink the ending?” As an adult, Donna added writing to her list and her cultivated imagination bubbled over into a successful career in Romaginative Fiction where Romance and her Imagination collide in several subgenres including contemporary, paranormal, sci-fi, suspense, action and adventure—with comedy always present either blatantly or sprinkled in. At this time in her life and career, it’s only natural she comes full circle by creating scenes for the world to see through television and the box office. “Entertainment to me isn’t only about good-guy versus bad-guy, Hero getting the girl (or as I like to write—Heroine getting the guy), it’s about packing a punch that touches emotions, tugs at heartstrings, tickles funny bones, or makes you think. I want the viewer/reader to invest themselves in my story and finish feeling positive.” |
